Terms of Service
Terms of Service — Internal Draft, Not for Publication
These Terms are an internal implementation draft for a local MVP. The Service is not authorized for public or production use. Operator identity, effective date, governing law, dispute terms, selected providers, and any paid offer must be verified and approved before publication.
1. The Service
Matcha Filter Remover is planned to help an adult user reduce visible color, contrast, saturation, grain, or similar filter effects and, where approved, create a plausible corrected or generated-naturalized version of an authorized image.
The Service does not recover the exact original photo, reveal hidden pixels, reveal a person’s “real” or “true” face, restore replaced content, verify authenticity, or create forensic evidence. Generated or edited results may invent, omit, or alter details and may differ from the original scene.
P0 supports one JPEG, PNG, or WebP still image per job within displayed limits. Video, batch processing, LUT export, public galleries, free-form prompts, and API access are not included.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Service only if you are at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. The Service is not directed to children.
You must not use the Service for a face-focused transformation if an image depicts a minor, a person whose age is uncertain, or an identifiable person who has not consented.
3. Your Images and Permissions
You retain any rights you have in an uploaded image. You represent that:
- you own the image or have sufficient permission to upload, edit, and process it;
- every identifiable person has authorized the requested edit where authorization is required;
- the image and requested use do not violate privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, contractual, or other rights;
- the request does not involve prohibited content or conduct under the Acceptable Use Policy.
Consent, ownership, or other authorization does not make a categorically prohibited use permissible.
You grant the Service a limited, non-exclusive permission to process the image only to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and delete the requested job, and to meet legal obligations. This permission does not include public display, advertising, marketing examples, dataset creation, or model training.
4. Generated and Corrected Results
A result may be labeled corrected or generated_naturalized. A generative result must be displayed as “Naturalized result — not the original photo.”
As between you and the Service, the Service does not claim ownership of your uploaded image. Rights in an output may depend on applicable law, the creativity and rights in the input, and the selected model provider’s terms. AI-assisted output may not qualify for copyright protection in every jurisdiction. The Service does not promise that:
- you will own exclusive rights in an output;
- an output can be registered for copyright;
- an output is non-infringing or free of third-party rights;
- a platform will accept the output for personal or commercial use;
- a result preserves exact identity, appearance, text, logos, objects, or scene details.
You are responsible for reviewing a result and obtaining any permissions needed before publication, distribution, commercial use, or other reliance.
5. Prohibited Uses
You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you must not use the Service to:
- process minors or non-consenting identifiable people for face-focused transformation;
- create or alter non-consensual intimate imagery;
- create or alter an image to sexualize a person, depict nudity, nudify, undress, or remove or alter clothing to simulate nudity or exposure. This prohibition applies regardless of any claimed consent, ownership, authorization, or adult status;
- harass, shame, stalk, dox, impersonate, or expose a person;
- reveal a “real face,” restore a replaced face, or infer identity;
- remove clothing, masks, blur, redaction, occlusion, watermarks, or security markings to reveal protected or hidden content;
- fabricate evidence, verify authenticity, or support legal, forensic, employment, credit, insurance, medical, law-enforcement, or other high-impact decisions;
- violate intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- evade safety, security, quota, payment, or access controls.
The Service may reject, suspend, delete, preserve limited evidence, or report content when reasonably necessary to enforce policy or law. Automated or provider moderation is not guaranteed to identify every violation.
6. Privacy and Temporary Storage
Image and account processing is governed by the Privacy Policy. Planned storage is private and temporary, with a “Delete now” control and automatic expiry targets. Exact retention and provider-deletion periods must be verified before public use. Deleting a job is intended to revoke download access immediately and schedule media deletion, but limited security, payment, tax, fraud, dispute, or legal records may be retained where required.
Do not use the Service for images that require guaranteed confidentiality, legal privilege, evidentiary integrity, or regulated processing that has not been expressly approved.
7. Accounts and Security
The initial public candidate is guest-first. If accounts are enabled, you are responsible for protecting your session and authentication access and for promptly reporting unauthorized use. A valid session does not by itself establish ownership of another job or entitlement to paid credits.
The Service may limit jobs, concurrency, retries, storage, or access to protect users, comply with law, control abuse, and manage cost.
8. Paid Features — Future Only
No live price, checkout, subscription, or paid entitlement is authorized under this draft.
If paid features are later introduced:
- the checkout page must show the price, currency, included credits or period, delivery conditions, applicable taxes, renewal/cancellation terms, and refund policy before purchase;
- paid access requires an authenticated internal user and server-side offer mapping;
- a signed, validated payment-provider webhook—not a browser success page—will control entitlement;
- a failed or rejected job that delivers no result will follow the displayed credit-release/refund rule;
- refunds, disputes, and chargebacks may suspend or adjust unused entitlement under the policy shown at purchase;
- account deletion will not silently erase legally required payment records or create an automatic refund unless the displayed policy says so.
A separate approved Refund/Cancellation Policy is required before checkout. This section is not itself a checkout refund offer.
9. Availability and Changes
The Service may change, suspend, rate-limit, or discontinue features, models, providers, file limits, retention targets, or access for safety, legal, reliability, or cost reasons. It does not promise uninterrupted operation, a fixed processing time, compatibility with every filter, permanent free access, or permanent availability of an output.
Material changes to privacy, payment, or rights terms require updated notice and, where required, renewed consent.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and results are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Results may be inaccurate, incomplete, modified, or unsuitable for your intended use. The Service disclaims warranties that cannot be supported, including accuracy, authenticity, originality, non-infringement, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, exact identity preservation, and recovery of hidden or lost information.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of Liability
A legally reviewed limitation-of-liability clause must be inserted only after the operator identity, governing law, consumer-law scope, paid offer, and risk allocation are confirmed. No visible placeholder or universal liability cap may be published from this draft.
12. Suspension and Termination
The Service may block a request or suspend access for suspected policy violations, security threats, fraud, non-payment, legal requirements, or risk to another person. Where appropriate, a user may contact support@matchafilterremover.net to seek review.
On termination or account deletion, access to active jobs and outputs may end. Payment, tax, security, fraud, dispute, and legal records may be retained only as required under the verified retention policy.
13. Copyright, Privacy, and Abuse Reports
Send copyright, privacy, safety, or abuse reports to support@matchafilterremover.net. A report should identify the affected work/person, the relevant Service material or job information available to the reporter, the basis of the complaint, and reliable contact information. Do not send unlawful intimate imagery or unnecessary copies of sensitive images by email.
The Service must not claim a formal U.S. DMCA safe-harbor notice process or designated agent unless the operator has completed and verified the applicable legal steps.
14. Governing Terms
Governing law, venue, arbitration, class-action waiver, consumer complaint channels, and operator notices are intentionally omitted from this internal draft because the operator entity and jurisdiction are not verified. These provisions require human legal review before publication.
